The Keynote Life
/Great keynote session this afternoon!
I couldn’t wait for another engaging day of presenting as I arrived at the JW Marriott, where I spoke at a conference last week.
“Parking is so much easier today,” I thought.
Then, the elevator opened to a dark hallway…because I was in the wrong hotel!
I had to book it over to the Westin…
Which makes me think about the content of the conference.
Just showing up to last week’s venue was the wrong choice.
Similarly, just doing what we’ve done before, in regards to employee wellness, won’t cut it in the diverse world of challenges we are facing.
We need attuned solutions that skill-up our workplaces in essential skills like empathy.
Cheers to organizations like the Wellness Council of Indiana, talking about all the things that matter right now in the lives of employees.
Sessions on mental wellness, trauma, loneliness, empathy. I love where we are headed: towards more connected, human workplaces.
